Timberline Creations carries a wide selection of Alaskan fossil ivory, antler and bone arts & crafts,
all handmade by the Lettis family in our workshop.

The Eskimo artifact tools have been collected by villagers on the northwest coast of Alaska. The
age of these ivory and bone artifacts range from 100 to 2,000 years old.

Our Ice Age fossils have been collected by Eskimos near the lower Kuskokwim River and by gold
miners in the interior of Alaska. They include fossils from the Woolly Mammoth (Alaska's state
fossil), extinct Steppe bison, and occasionally, muskox, horse and carnivores. These fossils are
10,000 years old or older.

Shed moose and caribou antlers that have been collected from the back
country of Alaska are also available.

Our hand-scribed log-cabin gift shop is decorated with a variety of Alaskan antiques, antlers, and
horns from past hunting trips, and surrounded by perennial flower gardens. Next time you are in the
neighborhood make sure you stop by!
